RINGKASAN Contoh-contoh seperti kuping, kutil, najis tengkorok dan paru-paru telah dihantar ke makmal untuk menentukan penyakit-penyakit haiwan dengan menggunakan mikroskop lektron. Pemeriksaan contoh dari kes puru kambing dengan puru ayam telah menunjukkan adanya kumin-kumin berupa bentuk poxvirus. Kumin-kumin berupa bentuk coronavirus telah juga dilihat dari najis anak lembu berpenyakit ceret beret dan dari air allantoic telor yang telah dijangkitkan dengan contoh dari ayam berpenyakit bronkitis. Parvovirus telah didapati dari najis anjing yang disyaki berpenyakit parvovirus. Papilloma virus dan poxvirus telah juga berada dicontoh-contoh kutil yang diambil dari kes papilloma lembu.
